Since Jayson Tipp's mighty 90's fusion band Under the Lake made an exciting comeback in 2018, the versatile keyboardist/composer has split his time recording with them and building an impressive solo Smooth Jazz discography. Throughout 2025, he found a crafty way to blend his two worlds by re-imagining favorite UTL tracks as solo singles. Tipp's third reworking, a sparkling, funked up redux of "It's Your Horizon Too," speeds up the tempo and shifts the focus to the lively elegance of his acoustic piano. In a fresh familial twist, he switches out UTL saxman Quintin Gerard W for Quintin's son, amazing electric guitarist and rising Smooth Jazz star Lemek.
